Hollywood & Highland is a cosmopolitan retail and entertainment hub that recaptures the glamour of Hollywood in its heyday, interweaving cinema history and modern lifestyles in dramatic public spaces, a chic hotel with views of the famed Hollywood sign and dozens of stylish retail shops, restaurants and nightclubs. The development includes the Dolby Theater, home to the Academy Awards, a multi-plex cinema and connections to such legendary destinations as the Chinese Theatre.
Our firm was engaged to program, plan and design a 1,300-square-foot retail postal store that would engage customers in the exciting environment of the Hollywood & Highland complex. Rachlin Partners provided full architectural/engineering services to develop a unique store image and identity that would integrate the storefront, interior design and merchandising plan. Using iconic images drawn from Hollywood history, our design enhances the customer experience by telling a compelling retail story and making connections with pop culture and the “mythology” of Hollywood. The design also supports superior merchandising and customer service.
