The project encompasses the removal of 10 relocatable buildings, the construction of four new one-story buildings consisting of (16) classrooms, the modernization of five existing one-story buildings consisting of (12) classrooms, the expansion and modernization of an existing one-story Administration / MPR building, the construction of two lunch shelters, the installation of new playground equipment and related site work.

When the project is complete, students at Hope Elementary School will enjoy modern learning environments, including new regular and STEAM classrooms, an expanded multipurpose room, and a renovated library. These modernized facilities will allow the Carlsbad Unified School District to continue providing high-quality education and prepare students to succeed in college and careers.
